U.K. labor shortage may drive up produce prices

U.K. supermarkets will have to raise prices or import fruits and vegetables from other countries if the country doesn't allow entry of more foreign workers when employment restrictions are lifted on immigrants from Romania and Bulgaria at the end of the year, according to the Migration Advisory Committee. Currently, about 22,000 workers from those countries are working as seasonal agricultural workers.
