4 in 5 U.S. adults have set smoke-free policies at home

Almost 90% of nonsmokers have smoke-free rules in place in their households, while just 48% of smokers have established such policies at home, according to a CDC study published in the journal Preventing Chronic Disease. Researchers noted that nonsmokers also were more likely to impose smoking bans in cars than smokers.
