Beverage companies find ways to stay sweet while cutting sugar

Beverage makers are looking at ways to trim sugar calories from their drinks, helped by the increasing use of zero-calorie natural sweeteners. "The trends seem to be healthy reductions and a move toward natural options. It is often about making better-for-you versions of beverages people already buy," said Adams Berzins, principal technologist with Ingredion.
