Global Orthopaedic gains 510(k) clearance for hip implant

The FDA has cleared Global Orthopaedic Technology to market its cementless hip replacement device. The Paragon system integrates tension grooves that reproduce natural bone strain on the lateral part of the stem to improve site fixation, CEO Darren Churchill said.
