McDonald's to boost China workforce by 83% in 2013

McDonald's will add about 75,000 new workers to its existing staff of more than 90,000 in China this year as it speeds up expansion plans and grows to 2,000 mainland units, the company said Thursday. Sales at quickservice chains in China are on track to grow 14% to $18.7 billion this year, according to Euromonitor International.
