Microsoft has pledged to donate $1 million over three years to help Washington, D.C., enroll more teachers in a training program intended to help educators implement blended instruction in the classroom. The Education Innovation Fellowship, in its first year, has included 12 teachers, and the Microsoft donation of $1 million is expected to double the number of teachers in the program each year -- with a particular focus on science, technology, engineering and math educators.
