Natera taps Echevarne to offer prenatal test in Spain

Natera has agreed to allow Echevarne, a Barcelona-based clinical evaluation lab, to distribute its Panorama assay in Spain as a tool for diagnosing Patau, Edwards, Turner and Down syndromes. The blood-based prenatal test, released earlier this year, is used for the noninvasive detection of trisomy 13, 18 and 21, as well as certain sex-chromosome disorders.
