National Cancer Institute, ONC unveil app contest

The ONC and the National Cancer Institute have unveiled a tech challenge for developers to design an application that could be used to boost follow-up and transitional care of cancer survivors who have completed the necessary cancer treatment. The Crowds Care for Cancer: Supporting Survivors Challenge aims to address several areas of care such as leveraging advanced tools to boost communication across care networks and personalizing the management of survivor care. The deadline to submit applications is May 28.
