Why you should hire based on interpersonal skills

When you're trying to fill an open position at your company, it's critical to find people who have the right interpersonal skills, according to Alison Salisbury, founder of Fiscally Fit. "You can teach anyone to use an Excel spreadsheet. You cannot teach people skills," she said. Salisbury explains how she found the perfect job candidate by asking applicants to leave voice mail messages that answered a series of questions.
