FDA uncertain about risk from abortion pill

FDA Deputy Commissioner Janet Woodcock told a congressional panel the FDA does not know if the abortion pill increases the risk of an infection that killed four women. Woodcock's testimony was given at a hearing urged by opponents of the RU-486 drug who suggest it is dangerous to women and should be banned.
