Accenture: Innovation strategies don't seem to be paying off

An Accenture study indicates that companies with a business-innovation strategy aren't much more innovative than those that don't have such a focus. Eighteen percent of U.S., French and U.K. companies surveyed that said they have an innovation strategy in place reported that it provides them a competitive advantage. Half said they have boosted spending for innovation, and 70% said they view innovation as one of their top five priorities.
