Drive for cloud security gives rise to new encryption tools

Data security remains a primary concern for enterprises launching their operations into the cloud, but keeping prying eyes from lurking where they shouldn't is getting easier thanks to a new generation of automated tools designed to serve as a "virtual padlock" on cloud data. New solutions from vendors including SafeNet, Boxcryptor and Sookasa offer largely automated encryption services that even the cloud service providers themselves are not able to breach.
