DT signs Vodafone deal, points to loophole in T-Mobile agreement

Deutsche Telekom has signed a deal with Vodafone that will let the British-based operator offer broadband and video services over the German telecom's fixed-line network, the companies revealed Thursday. Deutsche Telekom, the parent of T-Mobile US, also clarified the carrier's merger agreement with MetroPCS, telling shareholders that a loophole in the deal allows the company to sell T-Mobile within 18 months.
