Mobile experiment boosts sales, builds database for ice cream shops

Marble Slab Creamery and MaggieMoo's Ice Cream and Treatery locations achieved net sales increases as high as 108% by using mobile marketing to drive in-store traffic. The tests were carried out in several cities, offering promotions via text message, e-mail and social media. The brands built a database of 32,000 consumers from all stores involved over five months.
