Oneida secure exclusive casino rights in central N.Y.

The Oneida Indian Nation has agreed to pay the state of New York around $50 million in annual revenue as part of a deal with Gov. Andrew Cuomo that gives the tribe exclusive rights to operate a casino in central New York. The agreement, which also resolves land claim issues, entitles the state to 25% of net revenue from the tribe's Turning Stone casino slot machines.
