Overweight/obesity rate drops among kindergartners in Nevada

A survey shows 30% of Nevada kindergartners are overweight or obese, a decrease of 4% from a year ago and an 8% drop over five years, according to the Nevada Institute for Children's Research and Policy, part of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The report said the children are consuming less soda and 80% watch two hours or less of television on school days.
