As power struggle continues, Dell watches profits fall

A continuing decline in PC sales pummeled profits at Dell in the first quarter amid an ongoing leadership struggle that could determine the future of the once-mighty personal computing pioneer. The world's No. 3 PC maker saw profits decline 79% and net income decrease by more than $500 million, as shrinking demand for its products helped underscore the urgency of a plan to reshape Dell for the growing enterprise market.
