Report: Spring college enrollment dropped by 2.3%

Overall college enrollment fell by 2.3% in the spring 2013 term, compared with the same term a year ago, according to a new report. The report, released Thursday by the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center, showed declines in all-higher education sectors except four-year, private nonprofit schools, which saw a slight increase in enrollment during that same period.
