Will data analytics make résumés obsolete?

Résumés actually provide little useful information compared with the vast amounts of data that candidates reveal about themselves through their online activities, experts say. As companies become better at analyzing this data, traditional tools such as interviews and résumés may become less relevant, they say. "Résumés are actually curious constructs now, because for the most part, work and our work product is fundamentally digital," says Peter Kazanjy, CEO of TalentBin.
