California city to discuss up-to-date sign rules

The City Council in Lake Forest, Calif., plans to discuss proposed changes to the city's sign ordinance that would require a more contemporary look to signage at new and renovated businesses. The updated code, already approved by the city's Planning Commission, would also allow the council to ban electronic signs and neon displays, as we well as human sign wavers.
