Scientists call for more drugs, vaccines for multidrug-resistant TB

Spending on research and development of drugs and vaccines for multidrug-resistant strains of tuberculosis should be increased as MDR-TB starts to advance in some countries, scientists said. Additional vaccines, treatments and diagnostic tests could reduce the global incidence of TB by 94% by 2050, they said.
