Survey: Federal agency data sharing is not secure

U.S. government agency staffers are violating data-security policies by using insecure ways to share and transfer data, states a survey from MeriTalk and Axway. The biggest no-nos are using personal e-mail and unsecured media such as USB drives to send and transfer documents. The results indicate employees need better training around data security, the poll takers say.
