EEOC sues Starbucks for firing dwarf worker

Starbucks is being sued by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, which alleges that the company illegally fired a female employee who is a dwarf. The EEOC says a Starbucks in El Paso, Texas, did not provide reasonable accommodations for the worker who was reportedly fired after she requested a stool or stepladder to do her job. Starbucks contended the employee could pose a workplace danger to fellow workers or customers.
