Vermont passes comprehensive payment-disclosure bill

The Vermont Legislature passed a disclosure bill that would require drug and medical-device makers to report all payments made to health care providers. The law, which is scheduled to go into effect July 1, would impose more limitations on payments compared with disclosure rules in other states.
