Facebook may move to streamline privacy controls

Facebook, which has been slammed by consumer advocates for its confusing and frequently changing privacy settings, is contemplating a solution to assuage those concerns, a spokesperson said. Challenges to the company have included Diaspora, an open Facebook alternative, and an attempt to organize a "Quit Facebook Day" on May 31.
