Rhode Island attorney general calls for rewrite of casino rules

Patrick C. Lynch, attorney general for Rhode Island, would like the state to rewrite its casino regulations from scratch. Lynch proposed shifting oversight of the state's Twin River and Newport Grand slot parlors to a five-member Gaming Control Commission. Lynch also would like to establish a Division of Gaming Enforcement within the attorney general's office.
