Consultant: Money managers' incentive pay will rise in 2013

Driven by an increase in assets under management, incentive pay in the money-management industry is expected to rise by 10% to 15% this year, according to compensation consultant Johnson Associates. The increase will be about the same for hedge funds, but incentive compensation among private equity funds is expected to climb by 5% to 10%. In banking, any increase will range from zero to 10%, Johnson says.
