International franchisors strive to enter U.S. markets

While franchises that originate in the U.S. look to expand into foreign markets, international franchisors such as Vom Fass in Germany, Red Mango in South Korea and Aussie Pet Mobile in Australia see the U.S. market as a prime target. "It's a complete juxtaposition to where international franchising was 20 years ago, when it was in its infancy," said Ray Hays, senior director of business consulting firm Edwards Global Services.
