Microsoft creates umbrella Advertising unit

Microsoft Advertising is a new umbrella unit for the company's Atlas ad serving tool, AdECN ad exchange, adCenter ad platform and in-game ad firm Massive. The initiative is a way for Microsoft to establish a single brand identity for its ad business, or "to bring order amidst the chaos," according to Brian McAndrews, SVP, Microsoft's advertising and publisher solutions group, who spoke at the company's Advance conference.
