Alcohol companies' social marketing comes under fire

A report from the Center for Digital Democracy suggests that alcohol brands are increasingly using social marketing to target younger, and potentially underage, drinkers. Regulators need to step in to ensure that companies market their products more responsibly, says CDD Executive Director Jeff Chester. "There's a whole stealth world of marketing that occurs in social-media spaces. ... It's a completely Wild West environment," Chester adds.
