TARC winners persevered through snow, rain, mud

It took lots of crashes, lots of rebuilding and even a propane heater at one point, but the team from Pennsylvania's Penn Manor High School persevered to place first in last weekend's Team America Rocketry Challenge. Brian Osmolinsk, the team's adviser, said members spent a whole semester designing their rocket on the computer before heading outside in February for practice launches "in the snow, the rain, the mud, the sludge. I had to get a propane heater to keep them warm."
