California airport improves security fence

Ongoing renovations at California's Palm Springs International Airport include improvements to a security fence that surrounds the airport. Officials said the new design includes security cameras and perimeter intrusion detection equipment. "In a nutshell, what we are trying to accomplish is, we've got good security, but we want to bring it up to a certain caliber," Airport Executive Director Tom Nolan said.
