3D printing enables the disabled

3D printing can now provide customized solutions for the disabled, whose highly personal special needs may not always be met by products already on the market. Enabled By Design changes that with custom 3D printing of products designed by the end user. "3D printing has a huge potential to disrupt -- it means people with disabilities will have the power to revolutionize the products they use and to make them highly personalized," said company co-founder Denise Stephens.
