Active video games may offer health benefits for children

High-intensity "exergaming" was as effective as moderate-intensity exercise in improving energy expenditures in children, while low-intensity exergaming showed results comparable to those of low-intensity exercise, according to a small study set to appear in The Journal of Pediatrics.
