Doctors in Minn. discuss how to address Rx drug abuse

In dealing with prescription drug abuse, physicians have the twin risks of not doing enough to treat pain and being blamed if medications are misused. The Minnesota Medical Association is assessing whether to mandate continuing education on pain management and addiction. "Even if you do everything right, you can be burned. It's waltzing in a minefield," Dr. Paul Sanford said.
