FCC notice takes shot at broadcast-wireless repacking plan

The Federal Communications Commission's Wireless Bureau is looking for feedback on its repacking proposal for the incentive spectrum auctions. The FCC notice singled out the broadcaster-wireless repacking proposal, claiming it would restrict the marketplace. FCC member Ajit Pai said he took issue with the notice for seeming to favor a band plan that begins at channel 51 and for trying to gauge reaction to plans for which "little or no support" exists.
