Hospitals that prevent cardiac arrests also have best survival rates

Hospitals with the best rates of inpatient cardiac arrest survival also excel at preventing cardiac arrests, University of Michigan researchers reported in JAMA Internal Medicine. The study found nurse-to-bed ratios and geographic location also affected the relationship between incidence and survival.
