Minnesota's Transportation Department is working with schools to tell students that the St. Croix River Bridge between Minnesota and Wisconsin can serve as a "learning laboratory." Some eighth-grade students will build robots with sensors to evaluate the alterations in the movement and structure of the bridge. "It's just a more fun way to learn about math and science," said one student. "You're not just reading from a textbook. You get to experiment and have fun with it."
