U.S. retailers help youths in Honduras

As part of the Retail Orphan Initiative, executives from U.S. retail companies traveled to La Entrada, Honduras, last month to visit the Plan Escalon school dedicated to offering education and hope for a brighter future to more than 550 students, almost half of whom go on to attend college, Shop.org Executive Director Vicki Cantrell writes. The initiative has partnered on more than 60 missions in 13 countries since launching in 2008.
