What to do if your Twitter account is suspended

Twitter's rules prohibit behaviors such as impersonating other people, violating trademarks or making threats, writes Shawn Hessinger. But some businesses have found that Twitter suspended their accounts even though they did not violate those rules. If your account has been suspended, make sure you haven't violated any of Twitter's policies, and then fill out an appeal form and monitor the e-mail account linked to your Twitter name.
