E-mail tips can help people adopt healthier habits

People adopted healthier habits when they received e-mail messages suggesting small ways to eat better or get more exercise, according to Kaiser Permanente researchers. After 16 weeks, participants getting e-mail suggestions ate more fruits and vegetables and less saturated and trans fats and increased their physical activity compared with workers who didn't get the e-mails.
