Bronchodilators may raise heart risks in COPD patients

Taking the long-acting bronchodilators beta-agonists and anticholinergics was associated with a greater risk of cardiovascular events in elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, researchers found. The study appeared in JAMA Internal Medicine.
