Health coalition asks Senate to revamp MU program

The Healthcare Innovation Council has sent a letter to six members of the Senate urging them to stop the EHR meaningful use incentives if the program is not reformed, saying the incentives fail to boost care efficiency and quality. The council says the involvement of clinicians in redesigning EHRs is important so the technology can achieve intended goals.
