Microsoft later this year will begin selling its Xbox One, an update to its gaming console that repositions the device as an entertainment gateway. The first new Xbox in eight years will offer the debut of a "Halo" live-action video series produced by Steven Spielberg, and will be the first system to offer the newest installment of Activision Blizzard's popular Call of Duty video game. The device also will feature an updated version of its Kinect voice and motion controls, group video chat via Skype, and some 15 exclusive games.
