Okla. tornado gets major coverage from broadcast nets

The broadcast networks, in response to a devastating tornado in Oklahoma on Monday, scrambled to get their teams in place to cover the disaster. ABC News immediately deployed weather editor Sam Champion and meteorologist Ginger Zee. "NBC Nightly News" will have its anchor Brian Williams do his regular newscast tonight from Oklahoma, as well as an 8 p.m. special; NBC's "Today" show also has shifted a planned broadcast from Yellowstone National Park to the Sooner State. CBS News correspondent Anna Werner was live on the scene Monday, with the network dispatching "CBS This Morning" co-host Norah O'Donnell and "CBS Evening News" anchor Scott Pelley to the area.
