U.K. project aims to reduce power consumption in processors

ARM Holdings, Microsoft, the University of Southampton and other parties are participating in the U.K.'s Power-efficient, Reliable, Many-core Embedded systems project, aimed at significantly reducing power consumption in processors. The PRiME project is looking into a dynamic model of power management, Nick Heath writes.
