China's smartphone users are enthusiastic about in-app purchases

Almost half of smartphone users in China report making in-application purchases in March, exceeding the 37% proportion of U.S. smartphone users. Chinese mobile users also are ahead of their U.S. counterparts in searching for new apps, with 63% saying they do so weekly, compared with only about half of U.S. users.
