Conn. lawmakers move forward on GMO labeling

The Connecticut Senate, voting 35-1, has approved a bill that would require a label indicating whether food contains genetically modified organisms. "Consumers have a right to be informed when making decisions which affect their families, especially when it comes to the food they put on the table," Democratic Sen. Bob Duff said.
