Moniz to assess data before ruling on LNG export applications

Decisions on several liquefied natural gas export project applications will be postponed until impact studies on the projects are reviewed, Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz said. A Department of Energy-commissioned report determined that the U.S. economy would benefit from such exports even if the projects boosted domestic prices. Moniz said he seeks to finish his review as soon as possible.
