Charities working with the BBB Mobile Giving Foundation are deploying text messages and an application to speed aid donations to recent Oklahoma tornado victims. "SMS is all about quick response, it is all about impulse as the ability to reach a large and addressable audience. Everyone carries their mobile device, and the most ubiquitous reach to get into that phone is text messaging," said Jim Manis, founder of the BBB Mobile Giving Foundation.
